“Now, more than 21 years later, the AKC Museum of the Dog in New York, New York, is making sure we forever remember these valiant men, women, and dogs in uniform. The museum is hosting a special “K9 Officers and Handlers Tribute” on Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 6-8pm. The reception and evening event is to salute the hero dogs of 9/11 and police canine officers across the country.”
