NYPD Transit Bureau K-9 Demonstration
1:00 pm

How do police K-9s protect New York City? What does it take to be a K-9 handler?

Find out during this presentation and scentwork demonstration from the NYPD Transit Bureau K-9 unit. Meet and greet with Officer Jaime and K-9 Brophy to learn more about the training required to become an effective detection dog team.

It’s the perfect afternoon activity during the New York City public schools spring break week. And while you’re here, check out our special exhibition, The Dogs That Serve, which showcases the K-9 and handler bond through photography by Margaret Foxmoore of the NYPD Transit Bureau K-9 unit. Exhibition on view through May 5, 2024.
