Special for March 15: Teaching Dog Tricks!

Join representatives from School For The Dogs and learn the basics for how to teach your dog new tricks. Trick training is a great way to exercise your dog’s mind and body without a lot of space or a big time commitment. Learn building-block skills needed to teach adorable behaviors and give humans lots of fun ideas for new ways to challenge their dogs! No prior tricks training required!

There will be two training sessions, one at 6:15pm and one at 7:00pm. Please select which hour during the time of ticket purchase/registration.

AKC Museum of the Dog Members, at the Individual level and above that register and attend this Furry Friday, will have a chance to enter their dog to be picked as a demonstration dog during the program. Not a Member? Join today! Demo dogs should not have any serious behavioral concerns and should be comfortable working with a new person in a busy environment.  Please bring your dog’s favorite treats and a favorite toy in case you are selected.  A brief questionnaire will follow so we can learn more about your dog before the presentation.
