Fittingly on K9 Veteran’s Day, the AKC Museum of the Dog opens the exhibition, The Dogs That Serve: The K9 Transit Bureau as photographed by Margaret Foxmoore.

The Dogs That Serve tells the story of the NYPD Transit Bureau Canine Unit through the use of beautiful images captured by Margaret Foxmoore. The exhibition is punctuated with articles written by the unit’s founding officers and those who currently serve and explores moments with the officers and their K9 partners photographed over the past six years. These are the teams that keep New York City, and the nation safer.

The exhibition runs March 13, 2024 – May 5, 2024.
