Historic organizations to reside in Kalikow Building
The headquarters of the AKC will reside on a newly designed fifth floor of the Kalikow building. The floor will house approximately 100 people.
“We are very excited to move both our headquarters and the museum into the Kalikow building,” said Ron Menaker, Chairman of the AKC. “This building is one of the most beautiful in NYC with wonderful amenities. This move is reflective of our growth and expansion as organizations. We look forward to building a long relationship with HJ Kalikow & Co.”

The American Kennel Club (AKC®), the world’s largest purebred dog registry and leading advocate for dogs, announces the hiring of Alan Fausel as Director of AKC Cultural Resources.
Mr. Fausel has an extensive background in the art industry, having worked at the Fine Arts Museums in San Francisco and the Frick Art Museum in Pittsburgh. He has also served as the Director of Fine Arts and Museum Services for Bonhams. He holds an M.A. in Art History from Stanford University and is a regular contributor to the Antiques Roadshow on PBS.

Service animals are welcome in the museum. The museum entrance is wheelchair accessible via the building’s main plaza on the corner of Park Ave and E 40th Street. Accessible elevators are located on the first floor of the museum to the left of the admissions desk and gift shop. Public restrooms include accessible facilities.
