MOD is encouraging artists, families, and children to share their experiences with their dogs at home creatively! What do you have around you? Pencil? Crayon? Marker? Bring your dog to life through art. Get creative and snap a photo of your completed artwork. Then, submit it through the form below.

By submitting an artwork, you grant an irrevocable, unconditional, perpetual, worldwide, transferable, fully-paid, royalty-free, non-exclusive right and license to the American Kennel Club Museum of the Dog and its affiliates, related entities and service providers (“us” or “our”) to use, reproduce, store, copy, transmit, publish, post, broadcast, distribute, display and create derivative works of and/or otherwise use the artwork in any manner in our discretion in any media now or hereafter known including, but not limited to, on our Web pages, social media pages and other digital media, newsletters, third party sites, print materials, in-museum materials, television and other broadcast media, for marketing and/or advertising. You agree not to submit any artwork not originally created by you, or any artwork which is not properly licensed to you by someone else for submitting. You waive intellectual property rights, privacy/publicity rights or other legal or moral rights that might preclude our use of the artwork, and agree not to sue or assert any claim against us for the use of the artwork.
By submitting an artwork, you warrant and represent that you are the owner of the artwork; you have obtained all consents, permissions and releases necessary for us to display, post, publish or use the artwork; you have permission from any person(s) appearing in the artwork and any owner or holder of any dog, property, copyrights, trademarks or other rights in materials or other items depicted in the artwork to grant the rights herein; and that you are not a minor.
You hereby release, discharge and agree to hold us and any person acting on our behalf harmless from any liability related in any way with the artwork. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold us harmless against any third party claim, demand, suit or proceeding made or brought against us alleging that your artwork infringes or misappropriates such third party’s intellectual property rights or violates applicable law.
Out of courtesy to our neighbors, only service dogs and invited demonstration dogs are allowed in the museum.

Accessibility
Service animals are welcome in the museum. The museum entrance is wheelchair accessible via the building’s main plaza on the corner of Park Ave and E 40th Street. Accessible elevators are located on the first floor of the museum to the left of the admissions desk and gift shop. Public restrooms include accessible facilities.

Photography Policy
Non-flash photography is permitted in the Museum for personal (non commercial) use except where noted. Flash photography, videography and tripods are not permitted in the Museum.
