Meet the Breeds Art Contest

February 12, 2025 – March 30, 2025

The American Kennel Club hosted a Meet the Breeds event in New York City, NY, on January 25-26, 2025. As part of the celebration of dogs, the AKC Education Department held an art contest at the event with the theme “Dogs in New York.” Students from the surrounding area were invited to submit their artwork for a chance to win first place in their grade band. 

Art was judged by Education Department staff, and a winner was selected from each of the following categories: Elementary (K-2), Elementary (3-5), Middle School, and High School. The winning works will be on display in the AKC Museum of the Dog through March 30, 2025.
