Honoring the Point

The AKC Museum of the Dog is honored to display the collection of Gwynne McDevitt, noted AKC member and Gordon Setter fancier. This captivating sporting dog exhibition explores a variety of dog breeds and subject matter, from portraits of Setters to Foxhounds on the hunt. This collection of 19th- and 20th- century works features noteworthy canine artists such as Marguerite Kirmse, Percival Leonard Rosseau, and Robert K. Abbett.

This traveling exhibition was organized by the National Sporting Library & Museum (NSLM) in Middleburg, VA, and curated by Claudia Pfeiffer, the NSLM’s George L. Ohrstrom, Jr. Deputy Director and Head Curator.
