This February, the AKC Museum of the Dog will be hosting a Members Only pop-up exhibition showcasing the artistic talent within our community. Anyone currently enrolled in a membership program is encouraged to submit their canine-centric art for consideration—this includes all membership levels and types.

If you’re a non-member and wish to submit your work, never fear! Memberships start at $60 and you can join at any time during the entry period—which runs from October 31st to January 3rd—in order to submit your work. JOIN NOW >>
This exhibition will be juried. Individual Members are allowed one submission. Family/Dual and all higher levels of Membership are allowed up to four submissions. Member Libraries will be able to submit four pieces of art of their choosing created by their patrons.
Twenty submissions will be chosen and featured in the third-floor gallery as well as in our AKC MoD app; all other submissions will be displayed on our digital Community Wall. Throughout the exhibition, which will run from January 24 to February 14, 2020, Museum patrons will be able to vote for their favorite pieces using the “Best in Show” function on the app.
The Museum will host a reception honoring the participating artists on Saturday, February 8, 2020 that will be open to all Members & their guests. There, we will present the award for “Best in Show”—that is, the piece that receives the most votes throughout the exhibition!
