AKC Archives Sale

Join us for a one-of-a-kind sale of books from the AKC Archives!

 

10 a.m. — 11 a.m. Members' Only Access and Light Bites in the AKC TV Studio

10 a.m. 12 p.m. AKC's Archivist "Show-and-Tell" of ultra-rare volumes in the AKC's Colleciton*

11 a.m. 2 p.m. Open to the General Public

 

There will be over 200 antique and interesting canine-related volumes available ranging in price from as little as $1! All sales directly benefit the AKC Museum of the Dog. 

Admission to the sale is included with general admission to the Museum and is free for Members. Members will be asked to present their Member ID card or give their name for admission. Memberships can be purchased or renewed the day of the sale for early access. 

Members of the AKC MoD will have special early access to the sale from 10 to 11 a.m. after which time the sale will be opened to the general public until 2 pm or until supplies last. Join as a Member at any level for early access to the sale!

*Please note that the AKC's Archivist is not able to give valuations or assessments on personal items. Please do not bring donations of items such as publications, books, or artwork to the Museum as they will not be accepted. If you are interested in making a donation of items please click here

Out of courtesy to our neighbors, only service dogs and invited demonstration dogs are allowed in the museum.

Accessibility

Service animals are welcome in the museum. The museum entrance is wheelchair accessible via the building’s main plaza on the corner of Park Ave and E 40th Street. Accessible elevators are located on the first floor of the museum to the left of the admissions desk and gift shop. Public restrooms include accessible facilities.

Photography Policy

Non-flash photography is permitted in the Museum for personal (non commercial) use except where noted. Flash photography, videography and tripods are not permitted in the Museum.
